EDLAB Education Research Sounding Board (ERSB)

The EDLAB Education Research Sounding Board (ERSB) supports EDLAB in its mission of enhancing the vitality, visibility, and sustainability of Maastricht University education research and its connection with education innovation.

Its guidance is invaluable to EDLAB in creating opportunities for UM staff, in any discipline or function, to understand how education research benefits their daily work and vice versa—as well as to conduct (even more) research themselves on topics relevant for both educational theory and practice.

The ESRB engages in, and facilitates interdisciplinary knowledge sharing and collaboration by:

connecting faculty-based education researchers and research activities with EDLAB's offerings
contributing faculty perspectives and disciplinary knowledge/expertise, e.g. how education research relates with faculty educational culture/organisation and teaching practices, or, the UM Education Research Map (edUMap)
mentoring/advising, and reviewing EDLAB Education Research Grant project proposals
leading workshops in the EDLAB Education Research Training Trajectory

In case of questions or suggestions, feel free to get in touch with any of our members directly, or contact the EDLAB Coordinator for Education Research.
